Coming September 2010 - Apple Logic Expo @ Dale Pro Audio!

Dale Pro Audio is proud to announce that we will be presenting Apple's Logic Expo September 15th and 16th.  The event will take place at Dale's NYC facility and will feature Apple factory experts to demonstrate all of the latest features, tips, and tricks that Logic Studio has to offer. 

A main focus of the event is how the Logic "ecosphere" is growing and expanding thanks to the vibrant 3rd party support of Apple's partners.  The following manufacturers will be showing how their products can enhance and expand your Logic studio by integrating their hardware and software solutions:

MOTU MicroBook - Professional Recording that Fits in your Pocket

MOTU's MicroBook is a compact 4x2 USB audio interface that packs significant features into a highly portable package.  Powered by a USB connection and compatible with Macs and PCs, MicroBook offers (4) inputs and (2) outputs allowing users to record from the unit's microphone, guitar input and stereo inputs simultaneously.

MicroBook's front panel includes a pre-amp equipped microphone input with digitally controlled analog trim, 48V phantom power, and a 20 dB pad, along with a guitar input and headphone output.  Stereo balanced TRS analog inputs, balanced TRS line outputs, a stereo 1/8" mini line level output, and a S/DIF digital out round out the rear panel.




MicroBook includes MOTU's CueMix FX mixing and monitoring software which includes 7-band parametric EQ and compression, a test tone and white/pink noise generator along with other useful audio analysis software tools such as FFT display, spectrogram display, oscilloscope and phase analysis. 

MOTU's AudioDesk DAW software for Mac is included as well.  Industry standard Mac and Windows drivers (Core Audio, Wave, and ASIO) ensure across-the-board software compatibility with DAW software.

SSL XLogic X-Patch Analog Patchbay and Router

SSL's XLogic X-Patch is designed to deliver the flexibility of plug-in style routing to boutique analog processing.  Developed from technology at the heart of SSL's acclaimed Matrix console, X-Patch provides a 16 x 16 SuperAnalogue routing matrix that can be Ethernet controlled remotely from a standard computer. 

SSL's Logictivity Remote Studio Browser application provides Set-up, Configuration and Preset Storage and makes the X-Patch the perfect tool to incorporate analogue processing into any production studio environment.  X-Patch can function as a simple "X-Y" router or as a "Matrix" to create complex processing chains.  This allows for analogue processing to be built into favorite processing chains and then easily placed into signal paths.

Key features include a 16 x 16 analog routing matrix, rear panel audio connection via (4) 25-pin D-Sub connectors, and front panel XLR inputs and outputs for channels 1 and 2.  MIDI connectivity enables use of programmable foot controls, and +4dB and -10dB operating levels facilitate use of various equipment.

ADAM Audio "AX" Series Studio Monitors   

ADAM Audio has introduced the latest evolution of their "A" series, the "AX" series of professional studio monitors.  The AX series consists of the A3X, A5X, A7X, and A8X all of which profit from the technological improvements found in ADAM's top of the line monitors.

The A3X (2-way, 4.5" woofer) is ADAM's smallest monitor ever, the A5X (2-way, 5.5" woofer), and A7X (2-way 7" woofer) are the latest versions of their well known predecessors the A5 and A7, and the A8X (2-way, 8.5" woofer) opens the door to mid-field monitoring and is the top of the AX line.

All AX series monitors feature the X-ART tweeter which is found in ADAM's top of the line SX-Series monitors.  The X-ART tweeter features higher efficiency and maximum sound pressure levels, as well as frequency response up to 50kHz.  All woofers and tweeters of the AX line have been reengineered from scratch, and feature larger voice-coils and amps with twice the power for higher linear excursions and more output.  The cabinets have also been redesigned and all models sport two bass reflex ports.

Josephson Engineering C42 All-Purpose Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The C42 is an all-purpose cardioid condenser microphone suitable for multiple recording applications including spot miking acoustic and amplified instruments, drums, and drum overheads, ensemble and choir pickups, concert recording, sound effects and vocals. 

The C42's electronics feature a selected discrete FET driving a fully balanced symmetrical transformer-less discrete class-A output stage.  The output impedance is low enough that very long cable runs may be used without signal degradation.  Although the microphone is specified for full P48 phantom power, it will function with phantom power as low as 24 volts, with some limitation in maximum SPL.

A stereo kit, the C42MP includes a matched pair of C42 microphones in matte black chrome finish and a protective hard shell case.
