The CSD-07D from SRS Labs is an all digital Circle Surround reference decoder designed for monitoring audio, video and multimedia programs encoded with Circle Surround and other matrix-encoding systems. The unit provides full bandwidth stereo surround channels and advanced multi-band, variable time constant steering.

Three monitoring modes include full surround decoding, a stereo mode where the decoder is bypassed and the Lt/Rt signal is sent to the front L/R outputs and a mono mode. The later two modes are provided for verifying stereo and mono compatibility of the encoded Lt/Rt transmission signal.

The front panel of the CSD-07D features input/output signal presence/clip indicators, a center mode selector, a decode mode selector, sync source, sample rate and lock indicators.
